About Rachel

Hello, my name is Rachel!
I live in central Minnesota with my family, our four cats, honeybees, and chickens.
I grew up homeschooled for most of my childhood and spent a lot of it exploring barefoot outside. I had lots of time to pursue various hobbies and passions in everything from drawing, photography, and sculpting, to photoshop, graphic design, and music. I’m a highly creative person and thrive on thinking outside the box to create beautiful things, but I also have an organizational, research side to me, with which I love to search for knowledge, gather as much information about something as possible, and then deliver it in a clear, productive way.
Living naturally is important to me, and I’m constantly learning about how food is medicine, how to grow my own food, and raise my own animals; being outdoors to connect with nature fills me up. I get much of my artistic inspiration from people around me, God’s beautiful Creation, and places I love or have been to (like my second heart home, Alaska).
When I was sixteen years old, I started my own small business and became my own artist, photographer, marketer, accountant, designer, worked with so many people, and much more. It was the single most educational endeavor I’ve embarked on, and now I love passing on the knowledge. My favorite aspects of running a business are the design (whether for promotions, logos, or especially websites) and marketing (Facebook is my favorite). Not only do I get to design ads, but I get to share with the world why your company is so great and connect with people all at the same time. I have a special ability to find and highlight the best parts of your product or company, what makes you YOU, and share that with the world.

P.S.
I'm an INFP Mediator and my Kolbe score is 8625!

Mediators can have profound emotional responses to music, art, nature, and the people around them. They’re exquisitely attuned to their own thoughts and feelings, but they yearn to understand the people around them as well. They are compassionate and nonjudgmental, always willing to hear another person’s story. With their sensitivity and their commitment to authenticity, people with this personality type tend to crave opportunities for creative self-expression. Sensitive to artistic beauty, some Mediators simply come to life in the worlds of writing, music, drama, or dance. For these caring, supportive personalities, few things are more meaningful than seeing their work help change someone’s life for the better.
8 for "Fact Finder," which means I specify and get as many specifics as possible.
6 for "Follow Through," which means I maintain what works and if something is off, I fix it.
2 for "Quick Start," which means I stabilize what is already working.
5 for "Implementor," which means I "restore" or keep things running smoothly.

Some of my strengths are being responsible, paying close attention to detail, honesty, and commitment!
